In this piece I wanted to show a girl who's bored and uninterested in what she's wearing and overall dozing off. Describing a girl who doesn't care much about her culture and heritage. The blue surrounding her is illustrating her boredom and unhappiness.

 I sketched out my idea and decided to use chalk pencils to emphasize depth and realism. And drew the baby’s hands like it’s reaching out for its parents. I wanted to show how a baby isn’t able to clearly see who its parents are but still trying to reach out, it also shows a child and birth can bring so much happiness and joy to the people around them.
