in this artwork I used watercolor on the top left, acrylic on the top right, water soluble ink on the bottom left and chalk power on the bottom right quadrant. I began by drawing the person and styling her differently in every quadrant. And went on top if it with all the mediums I had chosen to show emphasis and connectivity between the pieces to try and make it seem as though they are all connected despite the different mediums. I had chosen to do this piece because I wanted to represent change in a short span of time. It doesn't take long for people to choose to change the way they look or their taste in things. So many unexpected events can occur in a short span of time that can completely flip who we are. The different mediums are representations of that, how we can go from one place to another.

In this artwork I used newspaper and watercolor to show experiment and depth. I began by sketching out the hands and going on it with watercolor to give it life and depth. Then used newspaper paper to show meaning through the colors. As red represents a new life and new beginning therefore the baby hands and blue for the kid/teenager to represent the emotional state during that of being unable to accept who we are and constantly wishing for other things for ours led and finally the good represents acceptance of who we are.

In this artwork I wanted to experiment with collage whilst giving meaning in the colors. I began drawing the different hands showing a baby’s hand, kids hand and an adults hand. I think one of the things that we see changing the most visibly is our hands. What I want to show through this piece is how the baby is blooming and growing represented by red and the blue for the teenager/kids hand to show uncertainty with themselves shown by blue. Finally the golden/ yellow color represents acceptance with oneself indicated by the bright color.
