In this artwork I want to show my MC looking at a portrait that represents the richness and beauty of her culture. I wanted to show her kind of walking around a museum and seeing this image that speaks very powerfully to her. And I want the person on the wall to represent her ancestors in a way who want her to turn back and accept her roots and see that her culture and traditions are very beautiful.
In this artwork I want to show how the love for her culture is growing without her knowing. That's why I gave her an expressionless face but in the background flowers begin to bloom showing a new growth, in this painting I want to incorporate light so there will be light coming from beneath her to show that she's slowly growing and realizing the importance of her culture.
