In this artwork I want to show my main character realizing how grey and dark her life really feels and looks, and comparing herself to other seeing and how they are grey. And it sparks a light in her, a realization that took a long time, she realizes the color she is missing in her life is embroidered in her traditional clothing, (and the culture itself being the light).
In this artwork I wanted to show the feeling of loss in a way, the girl on the right who abandoned her traditions and culture sees another person who is embracing and introducing their culture to other people with pride. And this makes her feel a sense of loss, the dark background indicating that sense and loneliness.
